Hi everybody!
For the past year, I have been working very diligently… Nesting if you will. I wanted to make sure conditions were right. I had an idea. I had a kickass mobile to hang above the crib. I had the colors picked out for the nursery… The only thing I was missing was a daddy, or in this case, multiple daddies. That’s where Alex and the rest of the gang at Scenic Route Records came in.
All cryptic ruminations aside, here’s the scoop… The record I’ve been working on for over a year is complete, and I could not be happier. Everyone who pre-ordered the record will be receiving a copy in the next week or so, and I am preparing for my CD release show, which will be June 1st at the Golden West Cafe in Baltimore, MD. It’s the first time I’ll be playing any of my solo music with a full band. I’m very excited to have Patrick Edwards from Bellflur behind the drums, Alex Champagne from A Cat Called Cricket on bass, and Amy Reid (who will also be opening the show) from InEveryRoom playing keys.
Though the record is not officially being released until June 1st (with the exception of my Kickstarter backers), you can pre-order the album here. Upon doing so, you can instantly download 4 tracks off the album, and the rest of the songs will automatically download on May 29th.
I’m going to be booking shows, making a video or two, and filling this site up with some good shit, so stay tuned for frequent updates! Things are about to get real.
